Seminar: Security situation in Poland – latest developments and opportunities for Danish companies

The war in Ukraine has had a great impact on Polish defence policy, and on 12 March 2022 the Polish Parliament passed an act on the defence of the homeland, assuming an increase in the number of the Polish Armed Forces to 300,000 soldiers, modernisation of the armed forces and an increase in spending on defence to 3 % of GDP in 2023.

Poland is now open to enhance two-way cooperation between Poland and Denmark and within the NATO alliance to strengthen Poland’s safety and response capabilities.

The seminar is arranged in collaboration with the Danish Embassy in Warsaw. The Danish Embassy in Warsaw will present the main findings from the report “Polish Defence and Security Sector: Recent Trends and Opportunities for Danish Companies in 2022 and Beyond” prepared by Defence24 – the leading defence and security sector portal dedicated to strategic aspects of the security in Poland both nationally and internationally.
