Homeland Security Conference 2024

8 October 2024

The Homeland Security Conference is an innovation and technology conference, that brings together representatives from the homeland and cyber security community; industry decision-makers, governmental authorities and academics. The conference explores both the challenges as well as the business and research opportunities that are present right now within the highly relevant area of homeland security. The conference attracts around 150 participants and is held in English to cater for the international participants. 

The conference program always follows the same structure:

  • 5 main sections 
  • Brief presentations from leading experts  
  • Panel debates on each topic

 

This year, we are delighted to present Gitte Lillelund Bech  as the conference moderator.

Denmark's global leadership in innovation and research has made it a key target for espionage, and combined with the current geopolitical situation, an increased focus is needed to counter the development. This section focuses on the challenges from different perspectives and intends to give food for thought to the audience.

Hybrid threats are challenging the way the responsibility normally is divided between sectors and authorities. In this section, focus is on how to handle cross-sectoral threats and crisis management, in the situation that Denmark (and Europe) is faced with a larger hybrid threat attack.
