Matchmaking Workshop in the Defense sector for Researchers and Businesses
Defense and security are highly prioritized areas on the European agenda today. Therefore, research and development within these areas are crucial, and this is best achieved through collaboration between businesses and academic institutions.
This workshop provides an opportunity for companies and researchers to come together around common interests and develop projects with the aim of seeking funding from Horizon Europe or the European Defence Fund, EDF.
The themes of the workshop are:
- Cyber Security and Quantum Technology
- Autonomous systems, including robots and drones (organized in collaboration with the Technological Institute)
- War games and training simulations
The day will feature inspirational presentations and thematic sessions, where participants will have the opportunity to pitch research interests, match common interests between companies and researchers, and potentially initiate consortium formations.
